Then this may be the iron for you. I personally love my hair straight because my originally wavy hair gets knotty easily. Going to the hair dressers are very expensive! I have tried out a couple of irons myself but my hair was too thick for these 2″ plates to handle. Strangely though I came across this brand, the nano silver tourmaline ceramic styler, not to mention the plates are 1.75 (I have to do the hair in much more smaller pieces than before, but totally worth it). I was a bit skeptical at first but i have faith in conair and decided to try it. It’s really light (only 1.05lbs. Heats very quickly, but if you are using it on the mid heat setting which is for average to thick wavy hair you may want to be very careful how you hold it, because the upper part where your fingers naturally grasp for is very hot! This kind of iron does not have my hair dry, it does not “fry” my hair as you probably will see in other reviews. It glides very smoothly. I usually just have to pass it once and the hair becomes frizz free! Also it doesn’t leave your hair this dull flat look. The previous irons I tried out had my hair flat and “wet” looking. Oh and another thing it doesn’t have your hair looking like a puff ball. I hate that too. Oh, and I don’t tie or wrap my hair to sleep at night, (I leave it open) and the next morning I just pass the brush and it’s as straight as ever! Also, because it’s white you may need to clean the surface from time to time including the plates. A gentle wipe with a soft cloth will do the trick. So maybe this will work for you it may not work for others. But I totally recommend this product. You would see people in other reviews talking about how it shuts off and thinking that the iron is defective. The iron comes with an auto shut off feature, that *within* 60 minutes it shuts off for itself. This happen to me, and I simply turn it back on. This feature actually came in handy for me, because in the middle of doing my hair I ended up being distracted and forgot all about the iron being on! By the time I came back, it had switched itself off.. and it was still hot too! Thank you for reading this and i hope you find an iron that’s made for you and your hair!

This product is very nice. It heats up very fast and leaves my hair straight as I like it. The case that protects it has a very fashionable design and is also heat-resistant. I strongly recommend it.

This iron is great…When it works!! Maybe I got a defective one but when I turn the iron a certain way it turns off. I have to constantly keep turning the iron on. This happened just one month after buying it. Again maybe I just got a defective iron. Not buying another Conair iron again though.

I love this hair staightener! It is my favorite one I have ever had. I have had about 3 others. One just broke a month later, one was REALLY heavy, and the other started smoking and then didn’t heat up. This one is not heavy, hasn’t broke yet, and doesn’t smell like it is burning or is smoking. So that is why it is “the best”.
