With her, after her evening bath Ill put them in her hair and let her sleep in them. In the morning, its spiral city. I would try those. I have also seen them at Dollar General before. I have done this many times. You hold up the curling iron upward- so the tip is in the air and put a section of hair at the bottom. After shampoo and condition, I apply a setting lotion (Lotta Body) or whatever you like and then I use plastic magnetic rollers and roll them side ways, and remove them and pull each curl. Others use perm rods, but it's easiler with magnetic rollers. I use 45 large rollers and my curls hang to my shoulders. This how i do my hair.
