How do I use a spiral curling iron?

I got it free. I was told it was a crimping iron (which I do know how to use) but it ended up being something like this.

So now I don’t know what to do with it…. any help?

ohh I have something like that, you just wrap a piece of hair around the spiral. Easy peasy.

i would go on youtube and find beauty gurus who show you step to step
i would explain but i think seeing it would be betterr
