How to get spiral curls that last?-Immediate help please-?

My hair is really thin, and naturally pin straight. So, I try to curl it, but it doesn’t last much longer than 5 minutes. They always fall apart. Are there any ways to make them hold? Hairspray doesn’t work for me, nor does gel spray.

  1. hamn says:

    1. Use a HIGH HEAT curling iron. A lot of the times when you buy a revlon or a conair, it doesn’t get hot enough if your hair is naturally straight. Try a professional Hot Tools iron:

    2. Apply mousse before you curl your hair. Apply enough mousse so that your hair is moist, then blowdry it until its dry, and curl your hair in 1 inch sections.

    3. leave your curls alone and let them cool down before you touch them. If you touch them before they’re cooled, then they start unwraveling.

    4. Finish off with a NICE hairspray. If your on a budget, you can use RAVE 4X, it’s not the best, but it works nicely for a 2 dollar hairspray. If its in your budget, splurge for Back to Basics Firm Hold Hairspray- its expensive, but you only need a little bit to last the whole day :)

    good luck!
