How to get gorgeous bouncy cheerleading bannana or spiral curls?

I want to do my hair like the cheerleaders, in those adorable banana or spiral curls all over my head,, kindof like a prom hairsyle even.. or for a beauty pageant but i have no idea how to do them!! please help me out
