There is nothing wrong with wanting to look your best. However, some people think it takes long hair to look stylish. Nothing could be further from the truth. There is plenty to like about having a short hair style. In fact, once they try it, many women insist on keeping their hair short.
For women, a short hair style can be serious or sassy, sleek or spiky. Sure, you may not be able to have long, flowing braids (I hear they’re not exactly “in”), but other than that, anything goes. One of the main reasons people choose shorter hair is that it makes for more dramatic angles. Because of its length, the cut itself becomes more noticeable.
Believe it or not, a short hair style doesn’t have to mean flat looking. If you want it to have more body, or want it to have some variety, then try a layered cut or big curls to add volume. Of course, if you are going for a flatter look, that’s okay too.
