How do I get big loose curls with rollers?

I’ve been trying to achieve big curls with my curling iron, but I haven’t had much luck. I get tight spiral curls instead. I’ve even found it difficult to achieve with a big curling iron. I haven’t tried rollers though, do they work better? Should I try Velcro or hot ones, and what size should they be?

How can I make curls from hot rollers last longer?

My hair generally doesn’t hold curl very well, which is why I straighten it every day. But for special events, I like to use hot rollers to create loose spiral curls. My problem is that I have to use a ton of hairspray to get my hair to hold the curl and that makes my hair crispy. Is there another way to maintain curls without applying so much product to my hair?

Besides, wasting a lot of time by dealing with curlers and rushing to your stylist for getting perm treatment, there are a number of effective alternative for getting perfect curls. Curling iron is an inexpensive, easy to use and an effective device to give you curly locks. A curling iron can give you a variety of long lasting curls, within few minutes. Curling iron glamorizes your personality and emphasis on the facial features. Getting curls is an effortless task as once, you have splits them after unraveling, the curls last long.

The curling iron is designed specially for tending the delicate hair ends. You can tuck your hair in the curling iron or flip them out to get spiral or barrel curls. The curling iron is portable and has versatile features and precisely curls the hair strands, in the desired manner. The curling iron has the unbeatable capacity of curling small sections of your hair in any style. The curling iron is very effective and requires 5 to 45 minutes for curling the hair depending upon the style.

Hot curlers are bit costly than the curling iron, but can achieve beautiful, enduring curls, in less then an hour. The hot rollers have wax which melts within 10 minutes, inside the metal page as the color changes. Then the curler is placed in the hair, as the wax cools down and the color changes back to the normal indicating that the curl has been set in about 10-20 minutes. It is advisory to use some hair spray or gel on the hair to retain the curls for a longer time. Hair must be washed a night before employing hot rollers, as sometimes clean hair tend to resist the curls. If you are using barrettes, bobby pins etc for styling your hair, it may require additional time.
