How can i make my wavy hair into tight curls?

I have wavy hair but when i scrunch my hair i have really loose spiral curls and my hair is also thin and it looks flat. How can i get tight spiral curls with more volume?

I have the stereotypical scene kid hair cut, choppy, extensions, black with blonde. all I really do to it is straighten it, tease it, make it big, and I’m done…I’m really getting bored with it and I reeeally want to know how to get those soft cute curls, ‘cept I have no clue how! :/

Loose Wavy Hair Tutorial Using Two Curling Irons

Just an alternative to scrunching or using a triple barrel iron. I know it seems a bit unusual, but I wanted to make a video anyway because I liked the end result. Once I got used to holding the two irons it was quite simple. It wasn’t any more time consuming than curling my hair the regular way, and it’s certainly faster than using a triple barrel waver. I used 1 1/4 and 1 1/2 inch irons but I’m sure any size will probably work, though you’d get different sized waves.
