Hey There..just to let you know I bought a fab hair clip base on your recommendation from Sprightly Strands Boutique…the cool sequined feathered clips, headbands, pins etc….lovelovelove it..!!!
I’ve never used a three barrell waver but I’ve been wanting to get one for AGES cuz my natural hair is super straight (but like super super straight) and super thin so I think it would be nice for me but they’re other things I need to get now that are more urgent so I guess it’ll have to wait…

I have VERY thin, straight hair with zero frizz. I LOVE my three barrel waver. I get a ton of compliments, but when my friends use it, it never looks right on their hair type. If you have thick and/or curly hair it seem to cause fizz and the kink can be weird. I have a marcel 3-barrel waver too, and while I hate using a marcel iron on myself, if I do somebody else’s it looks quite nice. The marcel waver doesn’t create as big of kink, which looks better on those with thicker hair.
I like it best back like it is when you show the outfit! I think it’s more 20s reminiscent than when it’s just down. And you’re rockin’ that dress, girl!
that was the exact reason I bought mine! I thought it would be my holy grail for “finger waves” haha guess we were wrong!
@BeemDawgBrie thx for your feedback:-) my major inspiration is the recent photos of reese witherspoon in her ‘water for elephants’ role (filming now) but I can NOT do finger waves to save my life!! I thought the triple barrel could do it but ehhhh. We will keep practicing!
I do like it, the top of the right side looks really defined, and then when you went down to do the subtle waves, it looks like it completely fell out of the middle when you brushed it out, but overall I DO like this look.
@BeemDawgBrie I know!! I want to love it more. I wonder if its my technique? What do you think of the right side? (dont worry about being honest, I’m cool with it..)
I just bought one of these, and I’m not sure if I like the way any of it turns out to be honest! lol you should try a few different looks with it, so you and I both can learn to like it more! haha it just reminds me of a hair crimper really.
