Hi, I just wanted to tell you I have very thick hair as well.. the best thing to do is buy a really good leave in conditioner, add alittle mouse to your hair and while it is still wet start at the bottle and twirl your hair into small marker size twirls and let it air dry or blow dry it on low heat. Once it drys seperate the curls with your fingers they will look healthy and beautiful. Trust me! Dont cut it cause that is going to make it look more full and more bulky!

Your hair almost reminds me of my neice Ariel’s- You can see her hair in the Instyler video.. But the only difference is- It doesnt look like curls? It looks very wavy. It may be what you said though- doing too much to it :] Your hair doesnt look TOO curly that the iron wouldnt curl.
